Murray Brothers Tarmacadam Ltd. started business in July 1972 and was founded by two brothers and over 40 years later it is still run by the same family.
Initially we were involved in the manufacture and supply of 
tarmacadam and asphalt. In 1998 we purchased a quarry in Ardcahan and relocated operations to the much larger site. We continue with tarmacadam production to the present day. In 2002 we commenced quarrying operations and as this is a sandstone quarry with high P.S.V. aggregate all of its products are highly sought after by local authorities, builders, farmers, etc.
After years of research and development we started production of mastic asphalt in 2005 namely in two formats, roofing grade and paving grade. We invested heavily in this side of the business with the purchase of asphalt mixers and production facilities and we now supply all over Ireland and the U.K. Our mastic is C.E. marked and we are audited by the NSAI to maintain our certificates.
We have our own on-site laboratory to maintain the highest quality standards.
